Brewing Process

Estrella Galicia Especial was born in 1972 as Especial Rivera and quickly became the most iconic beer of the company.

With over 115 years of brewing experience, we have learned that to be the most beloved beer, we must brew slowly and mature patiently. The use of two types of malts (Pilsen and toasted) and Nugget and Perle hops give Estrella Galicia Especial its distinctive character and complexity, marked by a balance between its initial maltiness and its pleasant bitter finish.
